Course Memo
This core practice experience occurs in the hospital or healthsystem pharmacy setting. Each week of experience shall contain
an average of 40 hours of practice. The primary purpose of the
Hospital Pharmacy Practice rotation is to develop an appreciation
of all aspects of the provision of pharmacy care in the inpatient
setting. Students will develop the professionalism, judgment, and
skills needed to function in a hospital pharmacy
