Course Memo
Remediation - This course covers components of biochemistry, immunology, basic virology and basic hematology. The biochemistry part includes the basic concepts and principles of mammalian metabolic biochemistry of lipids, nucleotide metabolism, vitamins and micronutrients at the cellular level in normal and disease states. The immunology component covers basic immunology, fundamental principles involved in host defense mechanisms, the immunological response and immunization training. The hematology component includes hematopoiesis, red cell physiology and basic hemoglobinopathies.
