Course Memo
This course will introduce students to the components needed to support the preparation of pharmacy students for Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experiences (IPPEs). The course content includes: Overview of various types of pharmacy services, Overview of HIPAA, Communication and Professionalism in the workplace, Pharmacy terminology, abbreviations, need-to-know terms, and SIG codes, Brand/Generic and Prescriber’s handwriting.
